Claude Opus 5.5 and merge when checks pass

Pick Claude Opus 5.5, set a pull request to merge once its checks pass, see usage warnings sooner, and answer Codex tool requests in the thread.

Claude Opus 5.5 in the model picker

Opus 5.5 comes with its 1M context and all five reasoning levels. It needs Claude Code 2.1.280 or newer. The picker also shows the real name of any Claude model the app doesn't know yet, instead of "Default (recommended)".

Merge a pull request once its checks pass

Turn on Merge when checks pass in the pull request popup above the message box. If GitHub can't hold the merge itself, for example when auto-merge is off for the repository, Threadlines waits until the checks pass and the branch is up to date, then merges while the app is running. The thread notes the result. When a merge isn't possible yet, the popup says why.

Usage warnings come sooner

Usage meters for Codex and Claude now turn amber at 75% and get redder as you near 100%, everywhere usage shows. Claude usage also has a "Use on claude.ai" link, since Claude's limit resets only work in Anthropic's own apps.

Answer Codex tool requests in the thread

Threadlines now supports Codex 0.155. When a Codex tool asks you to fill in a form or finish a step in your browser, the request shows above the message box so you can answer or decline it. If ChatGPT sign-in drops a thread's saved model, the picker says so and suggests another. And if the conversation is open in another Codex window, Threadlines asks you to close it there and keeps your messages.

Also improved

  • The version label next to Settings turns into a one-click Update button when a new version is ready. Settings > Archive has search and a project filter.
  • Claude stays in the checkout you pick, and changing folders no longer triggers a parent-repository warning. The Pull request tab finds PRs on branches the agent switched to.
  • Replies no longer jump around while they stream in, and scrolling up still keeps your place.
  • Right-clicking a page in the desktop browser preview opens a menu with copy, paste, and spelling fixes. While annotating, a dashed box shows what a click will add.
  • The New PR button no longer forces Summary and Testing headings into every description. With the Repository conventions style, it follows your recent merged pull requests.
  • Sending a failed check to the agent now asks it to read the check's log first. Pull requests in a merge queue stay yellow in the sidebar.
