Stable releases
The meaningful changes in each stable Threadlines release. Nightly builds stay on GitHub; this page is the concise, human-reviewed record.
Tools that come with their own screen now show it in the chat, for Claude and Codex. Claude says when it'll check back on a thread, and you can cancel. Pi signs in from a list, the Mac Dock counts threads you haven't opened, and a streaming reply no longer redraws the whole chat.
Muse Code, Grok Build and Pi are now built-in agents. Claude workflows run live in the chat, and you can stop them. Agents can hand you a command to run, Cmd+F searches a chat, and replies start sooner because Codex and Claude start while you type.
Agents can answer with a page in the chat, such as a chart or a mockup. Suggestions for your next message now sit inside the message box. Codex, Claude and OpenCode get late answers while they're still working, and a connected computer that goes to sleep reconnects by itself.
An agent can now hand parts of a job to new threads and carries on when their answers come back. First launch walks you through setting up your agents, OpenCode 2 and Google Antigravity join as providers, and devices connect with a short code.
Rooms are now on by default. Add a second agent to any thread, ask it something while the first one keeps working, and let agents ask each other for help or a review. The chat is easier to follow, and Cursor and fx join Codex and Claude Code.
Pick Claude Opus 5.5, set a pull request to merge once its checks pass, see usage warnings sooner, and answer Codex tool requests in the thread.
Review GitHub pull requests, bring failed checks into the agent composer, enable optional PR auto-fix, and dictate a prompt. This release also improves first-run setup, thread status, and Windows reliability.
This release adds Claude Fable 5.1, direct messaging to Codex subagents, background markers in the agent roster, and browser preview find and error reporting, plus several UI and streaming fixes.
Long replies now stream without freezing the page, the working indicator and approval panel tell you what is going on, and provider and checkout problems recover on their own.
Threadlines now recovers safely from corrupt databases and makes git operations more predictable with immediate feedback and clearer error messages.
Create and manage workspace skills in settings and the composer, clean up unused git worktrees, track background agent work more reliably, and get a real error dialog when the app cannot start.
This release makes agent activity less noisy, recovers threads when their checkout folder is deleted, improves right-panel and sidebar behavior, and adds a cross-machine usage dashboard.
Fresh desktop installs get a real setup flow, phone pairing works on any network, and providers install and sign in without leaving the app.
Threadlines v0.3.1 brings provider authentication into settings with automatic token handling, automatic retry for git operations interrupted by index locks, improved terminal stability, smarter subagent worktree following, and automatic remote-status refreshes.
Work with agents beside a live browser, organize active and wrapped threads from a focused inbox, and carry prompts, settings, and thread state safely across contexts and devices.
This release adds external thread import, Git stash support, inline provider authentication retries, and Claude session reliability improvements.
Goals arrive in Threadlines, subagent work is easier to inspect, and provider sessions are faster and more resilient.
