Rooms let your coding agents work together in one thread

Rooms are now on by default. Add a second agent to any thread, ask it something while the first one keeps working, and let agents ask each other for help or a review. The chat is easier to follow, and Cursor and fx join Codex and Claude Code.

Opus and Astra track down a double-charge bug in one thread. A recreated conversation in the current app, with no sound.

Add another agent to a thread

Pick a second agent in the model picker, even before the first message. Each agent keeps its own memory and gets a short catch-up on what it missed. Start a message with @ and a name to choose who it's for. Adding an agent turns off revert for that thread.

Ask a question while another agent works

Message a Codex or Claude agent while another one is busy, and it answers on the side without touching files, so the work keeps going. Other agents wait their turn.

Agents ask each other for help

An agent in a room can ask another a question, get an independent review of its changes, or hand off the next step. It can also ask you to bring in another model for a review. By default it asks you first, and Settings can turn this off.

A chat that's easier to follow

Each agent's work hangs on one line under its name. Finished stretches of work fold into short plain-language lines you can open, and Claude shows what it's thinking instead of "Waiting for model".

Cursor and fx as providers

Sign in to Cursor Agent or fx in Settings and use either one as a thread's agent, with its own models in the picker. They can join a room too.

Also improved

  • Claude Sonnet 5.5 is in the model picker, and Ultracode is its own switch. The picker warns before a model retires and says what each speed costs.
  • A thread shows the pull requests its agent opens, and the CI button turns yellow while checks run. Auto-fix also picks up checks that failed before you turned it on.
  • Choose Send when done to hold a message until the reply finishes. A steer that arrives too late now waits as the next message instead of disappearing.
  • Plugins & Skills loads much faster, and the usage page leads with tokens and splits each day by model.
  • Revert on newer Codex threads edits the conversation in place, and going back to a thread's first message works again on Codex 0.159.
  • Chats no longer jump or bounce while a reply streams, on a phone or with two agents writing.
