Agents show pages in the chat, and sleeping computers reconnect on their own

Agents can answer with a page in the chat, such as a chart or a mockup. Suggestions for your next message now sit inside the message box. Codex, Claude and OpenCode get late answers while they're still working, and a connected computer that goes to sleep reconnects by itself.

Agents can show you a page

An agent can answer with a page in the chat, like a chart, a table, a mockup or a document. It sits above the reply, follows light and dark mode, and can be updated in a later turn. Pages are on by default and can be turned off in Settings › Threads. Claude artifacts, a switch there that's off by default, also uploads the page to claude.ai, private until you share it. It needs a paid claude.ai account.

Suggestions sit inside the message box

The agent's guess at your next message now shows where the gray hint text goes, instead of floating over the end of the chat. Press Tab to use it, or type its first words and let Tab finish the rest. Escape hides it until the next turn. A soft shine passes over it a few times so you notice it. Claude is the only agent that sends suggestions so far.

Answers reach an agent while it's working

With Codex, Claude and OpenCode, another agent's late answer or a report from a thread the agent started now goes straight into the turn it's working on, instead of waiting for the turn to end. Long answers keep their conclusion instead of being cut off. A message you send mid-turn also stays part of its turn, so Revert, Retry and Fork pick the right message.

Connected computers handle sleep

The app no longer freezes when a computer you added over your local network goes to sleep. If it was asleep when the app started, it connects by itself once it wakes. Stop trying in Settings › Connections makes the app quit waiting until you click Connect or restart it. The desktop window also signs itself back in after 30 days instead of showing "Access removed".

Also improved

  • Before showing a page, an agent can preview it in a private browser that Threadlines downloads the first time it's needed (about 100 MB).
  • Turns in folders without Git finish again, so General Chats show as done and unread when the agent stops.
  • Pull request switches like Fix failing checks act within seconds, and merged or closed pull requests are checked far less often.
  • In the built-in browser, the agent's cursor stays on the tab it used and stops replaying its last click. The Turn changes header now matches its box.
