Agents can start their own threads, with guided setup and two new providers

An agent can now hand parts of a job to new threads and carries on when their answers come back. First launch walks you through setting up your agents, OpenCode 2 and Google Antigravity join as providers, and devices connect with a short code.

Opus starts three threads to find out why checkout got slow, and their answers come back. A recreated conversation in the current app, with no sound.

Agents can start their own threads

An agent can split a big job into new threads, each with its own worktree in a Git project, and pick up again as their answers come back. It asks you first unless you change that in Settings › Threads, and the new threads sit under their parent in the sidebar.

Guided setup for your agents

First launch opens a setup that finds the agents already on your computer, installs and signs in to the ones you pick, and asks for a project folder. Settings › Providers now splits agents into In use and Not in use, and can add a second Codex, Claude, OpenCode or Antigravity account.

OpenCode 2, Google Antigravity and community agents

OpenCode 2 and Antigravity install, update and sign in from Settings. Antigravity takes a Google account, Gemini Enterprise, a Gemini API key or Vertex AI (the last two bill per use). If you used OpenCode 1, turn it on in Settings › Providers, which shows how to move to 2. Providers also lists community agents from the open ACP registry, which we haven't tested, so each installs only after you confirm.

Connect a phone or computer with a short code

Settings › Connections pairs a computer with a 6-digit code and a phone with a QR code. Devices paired this way are end-to-end encrypted, so the relay only passes along scrambled data, and each one can be removed on its own. Phones linked before 0.6.0 need to connect again.

A calmer look and a new start screen

The app has a quieter design with flat groups and native-feeling controls. A new thread opens with the message box in the middle and a live map of the project's recent work, and a working agent's newest steps show up as they happen.

Also improved

  • In the built-in browser, agents keep their page when you switch threads and ask before opening sites you haven't allowed. Each project has its own profile, so sign in again.
  • Live general chats show up in the sidebar under General Chats, pinned threads stay put when their pull request merges, and the Rooms filter moved into the project dropdown.
  • Settings › Threads sets the model, reasoning and room new threads start with. The task list shows each step's time, and a waiting thread says what it's waiting on.
  • Claude Haiku 5.5 is in the picker. Claude keeps its sign-in and usage meters, threads set to ask before changes always ask, and an error that ends a turn now shows.
  • Database cleanup no longer freezes the server, MCP servers stay signed in, and a slow review or question in a room comes back as a message instead of being stopped.
  • New worktrees are named after the kind of work, and cleanup recognizes work that already shipped. The Agents panel opens for subagents only if you turn that on.
